Lahore: June,08, 2011: In line with its efforts to bring positive change in the society, Warid Telecom in collaboration with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre marks ‘World No Tobacco Day 2011’ by driving a  massive Anti-Tobacco awareness campaign which highlighted the adverse effects of using Tobacco.  Warid also supported Shaukat Khanum Hospital Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in collecting donations for treatment of poor lung cancer patients.

While appreciating the voluntary role of Warid and its team members Mr. Nadeem Hashmi, Product Development Manage,  Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre said “ On behalf of Shaukat Khanum Hospital i would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to Warid and its dedicated team for their support during Anti-Tobacco Campaign 2011.  Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is a unique institution, which aims to treat cancer patients irrespective of their ability to pay.
