The Warid Dual Number SIM consists of a special menu "Dual SIM" under Warid Menu services for a user friendly experience of defining accounts and swift switching between them.
How Warid Dual SIM Card Works.
The Warid postpaid 64K Power Dual Subscription SIM Card comprises of two independently charged mobile numbers - line 1 and line 2.
Both numbers share the same contacts list (up to 500 Numbers) and save up to 50 messages.
Dual SIM Menu
These special SIM card comes with a very special menu "Dual SIM" under Warid Menu services for a user friendly experience of defining accounts and swift switching between them.
STEP 1: Defining the Accounts
The first step using the Dual Number SIM is to define the two accounts with relevant names and mobile numbers. This will enable you to distinguish between the two accounts by accessing:
Warid>Dual SIM>Define Account>Name
Define the names of accounts. For example,
Account 1: Business
Account 2: Private.
Defining Account Number:
Define numbers for respective accounts by accessing:
Warid>Dual SIM>Define Account > Number
For example
Account 1: Business: 0321xxxxxxx
Account 2: Private: 0321xxxxxxx
STEP 2: Display Active Account
This option will allow the subscriber to display which account is currently active (These accounts are defined in "Define Account" menu) by accessing:
Warid>Dual SIM>Account > Display Active Account
STEP 3: Switching Between the Two Account
You can also setup switching options between the two accounts at your convenience:
Switch & Divert
Switch only
Cancel Divert
Switch & Divert Option
Go To:
Warid->Dual SIM->Account->
Switch>Switch&Divert
This function switches accounts e.g. from Personal Account to Business account and diverts all voice calls from inactive number to active number e.g. all voice call from personal account will be diverted to Business account.
Note: You will have to wait for a few seconds for the command to be executed. A prompt message will appear, if your handset supports REFRESH command, the option will be automatically updated, for the other handsets you will have to turn the handset OFF and ON. Call divert charges are applicable as per package plan.
Switch Only Option:
Go To: Warid > Dual SIM > Account >Switch / Switch only
You can also switch from one account to another without call divert option e.g. from Business account to personal account. Only mobile number will be switched and there will be no calls divert from inactive number to active number.
Note: You will have to wait for a few seconds for command to be executed. A prompt message will appear, if your handset supports REFRESH command, the option will be automatically updated, for the other handsets you will have to turn the handset OFF and ON.
Cancel Divert:
Go To: Warid > Dual SIM > Account > Switch / Cancel Divert
This option will deactivate all voice call diverts from inactive account to active account.
Note: You will have to wait for a few seconds for command to be executed. A prompt message will appear, if your handset supports REFRESH command, the option will be automatically updated, for the other handsets you will have to turn the handset OFF and ON.
