Wireless Broadband runs on EDGE / GPRS supported SIM which can be plugged into notebook for wireless internet connectivity.
Unlike other wireless devices such as PCMCIA cards which require specific slots (not commonly found in all notebooks) to plug in these devices, Wireless Broadband doesn’t require any specific slot apart from USB ports which are available in all Desktops / Laptops.
Wireless Broadband is a simple plug and play device which starts working as soon it’s plugged in the PC/notebook.
SMS Services
Wireless Broadband supports the SMS services.
You can use Wireless Broadband to edit, send and receive messages. The interface provides functions of SMS management, including Outbox, Inbox, Draft, Trash, and Report.
User can also export or import the messages between the PC and SIM card.
Data services
Wireless Broadband supports the data services based on EDGE/GPRS multi-slot class 12.
User can send/receive emails, surf the Internet and download files through the wireless data channel. |
