Chhiring Dorje (NEP)

Chhiring is a member of the climbing team. Chhiring is a highly experienced high-altitude climber; between 1991 and 2007, he has gained the following summits:
Everest: 9 summits (3 in 2007 alone!)
Cho Oyu: 5 summits
Shishapengma: 2 summits

Chhiring has also reached over 7000m on Gasherbrum II, Dhaulagiri, Lhotse, and has many more expeditions to his credit.

 
Mike Farris (USA)

Mike has been climbing since 1975 and has climbed a lot in the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming. He hassome big wall experience (Colorado and Yosemite), and has climbed Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, made a solo attempt on Denali (thwarted by weather), and climbed the major Mexican volcanos.  Since 2002 he has reached 26,000 ft. three times:

2002: Kangchenjunga North Face (8000m)
2004: Broad Peak (7900m)
2005: Broad Peak (6500m)
2006: Gasherbrum I (summit, 8035m)

Mike has completed multiple 100 mile mountain trail races. He is the author of Rock Climbing: Minnesota and Wisconsin and The Altitude Experience.

Tim Horvath (USA)

Tim has climbed extensively in the Tetons and Wind River ranges, as well other ranges throughout the US both in the east and the west. He has also sucessfully guided (privately) Aconcagua three times and has climbed Denali and Mt. Foraker.

Chris Klinke (USA)

Chris has been climbing since 1995, and has been involved in numerous sports including Adventure Racing, marathons, and mountain biking. Since leaving his career in 2005, he has been around the world on 8 major expeditons.

Eric Meyer (USA)

Eric Meyer, M.D. is an anesthesiologist and mountaineer from Steamboat, CO with a passionate interest in human adaptation and performance at altitude. As a premed student, he was one of eight subjects in Operation Everest II, a landmark altitude physiology experiment which simulated in a decompression chamber the ascent of Mount Everest and tested the body's acclimatization process.

In medical school, while guiding on Mount Rainier, he led a study of the effects of acetazolamide and dexamethasone in the prophylaxis of acute mountain sickness. Eric has climbed extensively in North and South America, as well as the Himalayas, where he and a partner reached 7300 meters on Shishapangma on an alpine style climb. In 2004, he summitted Mount Everest via the Northeast ridge, and participated in the electroencephalographic study of sleep patterns at altitude.

He is involved in developing world health care as a volunteer with Operation Smile, providing surgical care for children with cleft lip and palate deformities. Other hobbies include yoga and cross-country skiing.

 
Fredrik Sträng (SWE)

Fred is a  professional adventurer, lecturer and photographer who produces adventure documentaries for Swedish television and will soon export the documentaries abroad. Last year he climbed the official 7 Summits in 191 days or 6 months and 6 days and has produced a documentary of this experience. He has considerable alpine experience in South America.

Paul Walters (AUS)

Paul has been climbing since 1985. Like many Australians he has spent many days, weekends and months climbing local crags in his home state of Victoria including frequent visits to the famous Mt Arapiles. He served a seven month alpine apprenticeship in neighboring New Zealand before graduating to the six thousand metre peaks of Bolivia and Chile. Since 1995 he has been on nine expeditions to the higher peaks:

Chris Warner (AUS)

Chris has considerable rock, ice and alpine experience in New Zealand, Europe, USA, Canada, and Mexico. He has also climbed in Yosemite Valley and Korea

1998:Ak-Su Valley, Kyrgyzstan. Climbed on several of the towers in this valley.
